Treatment procedure

What does a Kambô treatment involve?

The scope of each treatment includes

  • a preparatory interview

  • Intention finding

  • the Kambô ceremony

  • Tea and soup afterwards

  • an integration interview after treatment

What is important in advance?

Please note that a Kambô treatment usually begins with the registration or with the call of Kambô. Be mindful and attentive, pay attention to what is happening around you, what encounters are taking place, what feelings and thoughts are coming up... all of this can already be a harbinger of Kambô.

In the run-up to the actual ceremony, there are a few things to consider, especially with regard to diet . If possible, you should avoid chunk food, excessive sweets , substances (ie drugs), etc. and make sure you eat a balanced diet. The healthier you eat in the days before the treatment, the less Kambô will have to deal with these physical things and the deeper the effect it can have.

Giving up or limiting "mental stimulants" such as television, cell phones, Instagram, porn, etc. is also a good way to achieve a more balanced state of mind . If you instead focus more of your attention on yoga, meditation, sports, and nature experiences (i.e. mental hygiene) , you will go into treatment with a completely different mindset and be able to achieve more for yourself.

When working with Kambo, I think it is essential to go into the ceremony with a clear intention .
With a specific focus, you get an anchor that can be particularly helpful in challenging moments. Finding this intention may not always be easy, but I will give you tips and advice beforehand on how you can find the right intention, or how it can find you.

What is important during treatment?

Try to remember your intention whenever possible. Be aware of why you are here.

Let out everything that wants to come out. Whether it's loud screaming, crying, anger, animalistic noises, or frustration. Everything is allowed! DO NOT hold back .

You are safe! I will accompany you through the session with sensitivity and my full presence and ensure a safe setting in which you can be completely yourself.

What happens after the treatment?

After the session, you will have time to rest and regain your strength. There will be sweetened tea and a delicious soup. Your gates (brands) will be treated with dragon's blood, an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and wound-healing resin from the dragon's blood tree (lat. croton lechleri) , and you will be given tips and advice on aftercare .
